I hear a scratching noise from inside my firebox?

The flame in your fireplace is delivered to the screen by combining the light from the bulbs with a specially designed reflective wand located in the rear of your fireplace. In rare cases this wand my rub against the inside of the fireplace. This is usually identified by a scratching sound during operation.
