I can not adjust the brightness control on my fireplace using the remote control?

The flame brightness control on your remote is designed to provide the flexibility to select the right flame effect for your room. If the adjustment on your remote is not functioning, simply reduce the flame setting on the firebox control (right side dial behind control panel grate) to the minimum level (turn dial counter clockwise). You can now operate the flame setting from your remote control.
